DESCRIPTION:Monday 12th January 2026\, 11.00am to 2.30pm – Mindful Monday with The High Sheriff of Devon FREE EVENT\n\n\nWe are delighted to invite you to join us on Monday 12th January 2026 from 11am to 2.30pm to meet with The High Sheriff of Devon\, Caroline Harlow who be attending The Woodyard’s first Mindful Monday community drop-in session of 2026. \nThis will be a valuable\, informal networking opportunity for our vibrant North Devon voluntary sector to get together\, exchange updates and share plans for the year ahead.  \nCaroline is very much looking forward to meeting with as many local charities and community groups as she can so we do hope you can attend.It will also give you the chance to find out more about The Woodyard project\, which is hosted by NDVS\, and see for yourselves the types of activity we are running in our Mindful Monday sessions (including a Sound Bath on this particular day) and the possibilities for you and your organisation to become involved in the future. \nCastle Chambers Cafe will also be open for the purchase of hot drinks\, snacks and delicious hot lunch.Please book your space via Eventbrite. But we have a cure for any start-of-year blues… \nCome along to our fun Quiz Night on Saturday 17th January 2026 at Castle Centre Hall\, Barnstaple. Starting at 6pm\, just bring yourself\, some food and drink (alcoholic/non alcoholic) and seat yourself down. \nBefore you know it\, you’ll be pitting your wits against our Quiz Master\, trying to remember the year\, the name of the celebrity\, the make of car\, the continent… \nAnd by the end of the evening you’ll have a head full of trivia\, made some new friends and maybe even go home laden down with a prize or two. \nBest of all\, you’ll now only have another 14 nights to go until February – and Spring is that bit closer! \nWe look forward to seeing you there…The Beat the Blues Quiz Night is in support of The Woodyard\, a community project hosted by NDVS and inspired by the work of well-known author\, Ann Cleeves.
