Beach access can be challenging for anyone, and those challenges are often amplified for individuals with disabilities.

From disabled parking and accessible pathways to beach wheelchairs and adequate toilet facilities, there’s a lot to consider before even setting foot on the sand. That’s where Access For All helps…

We create and customise content for social media, websites, marketing, branding supporting outreach and public engagement / relations for our clients. Our work includes audio / podcasting / sound effects, and adding Jingles that can be used for multiple media promotions to connect an organisations in a dynamic and contemporary way with their communities.

Age Concern was founded in Barnstaple in 1990 by Andrea Scott. 

In 2023 Age Concern Barnstaple and District became Age Concern Barnstaple and North Devon CIO and today provides 8 services to older and vulnerable people in Barnstaple and the North Devon District.

Ara is an organisation that has been dedicated to providing much needed and respected services to vulnerable individuals and communities since 1987. With a passionate staff team and Board of Trustees, we strive to help people make positive changes in their lives and create a better future for themselves and their loved ones.

Community Action Groups (CAG) Devon is here to support and empower community groups to act towards a more sustainable future.

We provide community groups with a grant to cover insurance costs, we provide guidance, training, and opportunities for networking and sharing skills with other groups.

Since 1927 we have helped cats across the UK and helped people to better understand their needs. As a community of volunteers, employees, supporters and partners, we’ve improved the lives of millions of cats and transformed the way millions of people see and care for cats.

Citizens Advice Torridge, North, Mid and West Devon is a local Charity that provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice on all subjects to members of the local community. We aim to ensure that no-one suffers through lack of knowledge of the rights, responsibilities, and services available to them, or through an inability to express their needs effectively.

Our mission is to enable social purpose organisations, including community groups, charities and social enterprises to be effective, sustainable and well-run. We help organisations solve everyday problems, build their own capability, think and act strategically and demonstrate the value of their work.

Devon Access to Services (DAS) works to improve access to information, services and representation for people who would otherwise be excluded from accessing health, well being and community services and activities.

We support voluntary car schemes via the Devon County Car Forum and our own website.

When every second counts, fast access to our Critical Care Doctors and Paramedics is vital. Devon’s two emergency helicopters ensure we deliver expert critical care to patients, wherever they are.

Early Nourishment Community Interest Company was founded in September 2018 as a non-profit organisation providing services to families across North Devon & Torridge.

We are a community hub, situated in the heart of Ilfracombe North Devon, providing information, support and activities to raise awareness for sustainable living and environmental thinking. We aim to bring the community together to tackle the current climate crisis.

We know how hard it can be to find the right support and advice, it’s even harder when you live in a rural location such as Devon. Services can often be difficult and expensive to access, that combined with mental health or addictions can often leave you feeling very lonely and isolated. Encompass Southwest is a local charity based across North Devon, Torridge and West Devon offering free and confidential advice on a variety of issues.

Exmoor Archers are one of the oldest archery clubs in North Devon. We have been shooting since 1953 and we are members of GB Archery. We hold archery shoots both indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer months. We offer our members GB Archery awards, and we have GB archery coaches. As an archery club, we are fully insured and offer beginner archery courses. 

Live Well in Braunton was set up with amazing support from our Community.

Having secured funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, which will enable us to deliver an extensive programme of support, helping our local community develop ideas and projects that will improve people’s wellbeing.

We are design strategists and implementers, focusing on human centred design working one-to-one with people, communities and organisations. Our mission is to co-create a well, confident and resilient world.

We are Diabetes UK. Our vision is a world where diabetes can do no harm.

It’s why we campaign for better care, give support in times of need and fund ground-breaking research into new treatments and a cure. Diabetes doesn’t stop, so neither do we.

Since 1984, we’ve provided care and support to people in North Devon affected by life-limiting illnesses. We started with one Community Nurse covering the area, and now support around 3,000 people every year, offering specialist care at home and at our two hospice sites, Deer Park and The Long House.

We are the national charity supporting more than 18 million people in the UK who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.

Fuelled by a shared passion for skating and a desire to grow the local skating community, we started organising informal meetups that quickly gained traction among skaters of all ages and the local community. Our mission from the outset was clear: create a space where everyone could feel welcome, supported, and empowered to thrive through skating.

Special Olympics North Devon is a local club to help encourage young people with, an intellectual impairment to learn through, active sports and participation. To help nurture them in a variety of sports and physical activities where they can make new friends, build the team spirit and to develop their commitment to fitness.

We are the charity that steps forward in the moments that matter, to save lives and keep communities safe. We are a market leader in the provision of workplace training, first aid supplies and event and ambulance services.

Sunrise Diversity promotes equality, diversity and social inclusion throughout northern Devon. By challenging prejudice and discrimination and actively celebrating our differences we help change attitudes.

Vista Wellbeing is a Devon-based community interest company offering specialist and tailored activity programmes for those living with long-term health conditions, disabilities, or who struggle to access mainstream activities and services.

We celebrate and support differences in our wiring. Our support is for autistic and AuDHD people, and those around them.

Calvert Devon is an accessible activity centre and charity in the heart of the South West, where people of all abilities can experience the joy of adventure in a safe, supportive environment.

The Royal Devon was established in April 2022 following the integration of the Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E) and Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust (NDHT).

Every step of our integration has taken place with our patients at the heart of our decision-making process, and the integration of the Royal Devon has many benefits for patients and staff alike.

As a registered charity, Adventure Therapy exists to improve the emotional and physical wellbeing of children, young people and adults with unique health conditions, impairments or limitations through outdoor and adventure-led activities.

This means we help people with mental health conditions, learning disability, physical disability, life-threatening or life-shortening illnesses and life-changing conditions. We make a positive difference in challenging and complex lives.

Here at Spark UK, we aim to spark the conversation around mental health. whether that is through our school resources, projects, podcasts, blogs or work. We are a team of young people who want to make a difference in our community and ensure there is plenty of mental health education

Our diverse team brings expertise in wellbeing, education, construction, hospitality, and mental health support, united by a deep commitment to positive change. 

Space to Be Wellbeing is a community not-for-profit organisation delivering inclusive and accessible wellbeing activities for people of all ages and abilities in Barnstaple and the surrounding areas. 

Space to Be has the best interests of all members of the community and their physical, emotional and social wellbeing
.  We specialise in delivering wellbeing sessions that support and encourage our community to connect and thrive.  

Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) Limited is one of the leading organisations for the benefit of the public across the world, and in particular for the benefit of women and girls to advance their status, position and role in society where currently unequal or disadvantaged.

Neighbour dispute resolution is a way of helping people talk through their problems using mediation, and is conducted in a safe sensitive and confidential manner. Whilst most of our work involves disputes between neighbours, we can also help resolve issues within the wider community. Solutions acceptable to everyone can be reached without the anxiety and expense of legal intervention.

Inclusive community mind-body wellness activities such as gentle yoga, chi gung, anxiety, pain and stress management to promote wellbeing.

Who are we? The Wheels of Ananda project is a small Community Interest Company providing inclusive and accessible mind-body wellness activities to support the physical and mental health of individuals and groups across our North Devon community.
