A VCSE discussion & networking event exploring Local Government Reorganisation, Integrated Neighbourhoods & Mental Health Shared Pathways

Event Aim

The aim of this event is to inform, engage and create space for discussion, enabling organisations to better understand the direction of travel whilst capturing questions, concerns, opportunities and ideas from across the VCSE sector.

This event provides an opportunity to learn more about emerging changes across local government, health and mental health systems, whilst ensuring that the voices of communities and the organisations that support them are heard and reflected in future developments.

Please note: These initiatives continue to evolve and there remains much to be determined. This event is not about having all the answers, but about sharing what we know so far, exploring opportunities and challenges together, and ensuring the voice of the VCSE sector is part of the conversation from the outset.

The Devon Mental Health Alliance will present a session on work taking place to strengthen partnerships between VCSE and Statutory providers in relation to mental health provision. We’ll talk through assets to connect with NHS mental health providers, talk through some core terms, definitions and data, and use the time to listen to each other to understand how we can all work together to improve outcomes for our communities.

Networking, Collaboration

Continue conversations from the day, build new connections and explore opportunities for collaboration across sectors. This informal session will include updates from Martin SBR, Devon Connect developments and opportunities to share ideas, challenges and next steps with partners from across Northern Devon.
